02 — The idea

A sketch, then a piece

Every design starts as charcoal on paper. We draw it at full scale, stand it against a wall, and change it until the proportions stop arguing with the room.

Only then does it go to the workshop, where the line we drew becomes a joint, an edge and a finish. That is the whole method, and it is why nothing here looks like a catalogue.

The book is redrawn every season. Nothing stays in it because it sold well five years ago.

Solid teak, sheesham and acacia. Full-grain leather. BWP-grade ply where ply belongs, and nowhere it does not.
